Sallubrious Posted June 22, 2014 I planted a heap of seeds that came to me as T. bridgesii a while ago and they are growing with anywhere from five to eight ribs. A good percentage (approx 30%) of that batch of seed grew out to exhibit more than the normal 5 ribs. All my other bridgies are grown from cuttings and they have 5 ribs most of the time, sometimes they change to a 4 rib growth habit. Is it possible for bridgesii to have 8 ribs or is it likely that I have hybrid seeds or something else ?
DiscoStu Posted June 22, 2014 yeah i have one with 8 i think, 7 or 8 it's less common but not unheard of besides, all trich seeds are "hybrids" of some sort or another aren't they?
