I have little to no knowledge about using agar and cultures or whatever. interested in buying them aswell as getting some advice. Wanting: Reishi(ganoderma lucidum) Oyster mushroom Lions mane Shittake Miatakee or whatever. Can pay as long as its not a large price. I also need advice. any other great species I would consider. Zen Peddler Posted March 23, 2014 I think the blewit yields pretty poorly but is a superb flavored mushroom. Lots seem to like king oysters. Agrocube aegerita and stropharia Ra are also popular. Also consider the lawyers wig for your compost pile. I have this crazy strain of oyster that regularly cracks my Petri dishes lol.
