id please, from local nursery

Hi, i picked this up last december from a local nursery so i could get a handle growing columnars. It's grown about 8 inches and seems to lose/gain ribs. I've read that is a scop x trait but would like a better eye to tell me please. Last pic is today anf first 2 from december 2012.

Thank you sir. It was unlabled but sitting next to some large labled scops outta my price range so makes sense.
