Stillman Posted March 9, 2013 To find something in its natural habitat like that it seems so alien coming from Australia. That is very cool, the Landscape is so stark. Got any more pics you would like to share?

trichpach Posted March 9, 2013 I travelled around South America years back (before i got the cacti collectors bug) and at that time i remember so many bus rides around the elevated parts of Ecuador / Peru / Bolivia and seeing SO MANY cacti clumps... mostly pach green and columnar and i remember thinking at the time that most of these would be of great cosmic interest in some way or another. Kinda glad that i wasn't a cacti nut then because i wouldn't have gotten any sleep on any bus rides and would've been asking for "toilet stops" every 50 metres. heh.
