johnnyzero64 Posted February 11, 2013 Firmly grasp the leaf tip between thumb and index finger, moving in an upwards motion simultaneouslly rotating the wrist, you will be rewarded with a "pop" and the leaf will be free.
planthelper Posted February 11, 2013 (edited) most plants, which humans, like to haverest, the leaves come with a snap off mechanism, snapping them off, is a downward motion. commercial farmers use a wooden stick (with and edge, but not too sharp), and run the stick down the branches, like this many leaves are snapped off, in one go. but this is probably an action, which requires skill, and lot's of experience.
