nabraxas Posted November 9, 2012 i've been browsing a fair few sites today & i keep getting an annoying pop-up when the mouse pointer goes over embedded links, not all the time, but often enough to be annoying the pop-up says fill in a short survey & win a new i-phone & isn't being blocked by Ad Block Plus. anyone else getting this? i'm on Windows XP, browsing w/firefox. Sallubrious Posted November 9, 2012 I run adblock plus so I don't get any of that shit. It can be a hassle sometimes but at least my hard disk isn't being raided constantly. I missed that bit Shruman That would be my first course of action. --------------------------------------------------------------- Some webmasters run scripts on their end to detect Adblock plus and they have workarounds for it so it may take a while for Adblock to catch up. I'm not getting any issues with that ad so maybe my filter list is more up to date than yours Mine was last updated on the 3rd of this month. I suppose you have tried updating your filters and or tried a different filter list Maybe report the page through the Ablock plus sub menu under the firefox tools menu Was that link going somewhere Nabraxas? I just get a blank page. I'm running Linux so I don't have a registry that can be tinkered with, although malware bites should have picked up any issues there.
