soulsvr Posted September 28, 2012 Hey Guys SWIM had potted a Lopho in a 3 inch pot about 8 months ago. for whatever reason he pulled it out of the pot. It was full and the main stem had alread turned upside down and was starting to grow back upward. Appearantly he is doing something right and he knows he is growing them exceptionally fast. He wants to know what size pot to put this in so he doesnt need to do this so often. His main question is how deep should his next pot be. A 4 inch Dia should do, but if its going to grow like a carrot he might need a 6-8 inch deep pot. Curious Buck The New Republic Of Texas
Goldtop Posted September 29, 2012 Ive got mine in terracotta pots 2-3 times deeper than the length of the tap root. Wont have to even think about repotting until a couple of years However i like to change the soil and have a good look at whats happening down under, every year and a bit.
