Ed Dunkel Posted May 28, 2004 Probably treat as a tropical for germination. Cuttings could work. http://farrer.riv.csu.edu.au/ASGAP/p-tim.html Pleiogynium timorense (Burdekin Plum) Tropic to Subtropic. A bushy tree with dark purple edible fruit. They are very adaptable and hardy. A deciduous tree able to withstand considerable frosts. [ 28. May 2004, 14:09: Message edited by: Ed Dunkel ]
dertwerver Posted June 16, 2004 we collect the ones from the ground after the bats and rats have finished eating the flesh off and have no problem germinating. sometimes germination may be slower than other times. seed keeps well and offers up to 40% germ after 6 months if u have no success pm and i`ll send a plant.
