Are there Red Eared Slider turtles in SE QLD?

Recommended Posts

I've heard of them living in Northern NSW quite comfortably, I think the QLD government is less tolerant of them though, what've you all heard?

i've heard something about relocation programs, maybe they ship them back to america? the councils around here are going to a fair amount of effort, i don't know if their aim is to control or to eradicate.

I've heard stories more along the lines of selling them for pet food.

who cares aslong as they get rid of them. Introduced animals are bad news.

We can't ruin this country much more anyway, what with those european homosapiens that were introduced some 300 years ago.
