Amazonian Posted February 2, 2012 You can do anything with second hand timber. Sanding it back and putting a few coats of polyurethane on it can bring out the beauty of the timber.
Frank Costanza's Lawyer Posted February 3, 2012 I use wooden pallets as a bed base, wooden fruit boxes for a bed head and shelves and the likes. Bus drivers hate it when you jump on with four of the buggers though. Screw paying a few hundred or more for shitty wood furniture from Ikea or the likes though. CβL Posted February 4, 2012 I use milk crates to store clothing. Works mint, easy to clean, easy to move, airs the clothes out, etc.
Amazonian Posted February 5, 2012 And then there is those huge wooden spool things that we use as tables. @ nabraxas, sorry to derail your thread, but it just gets me thinking, you know, how we re-use stuff.
