Just for the hell of it, I'm going to start a thread about my newly built vege patch Built from Bamboo 900mm high.. 100mm in the dirt.. Layer of sand at the bottom, Soil up until 300mm from the top, Then finished with a layer of Soil/Ash/Rice husk/other stuff.. I am going to be planting a hellava lot of stuff... I would appreciate any suggestions for tropical vege's/Fruits...... Some Pics of the construction.................... The white guy is not me..... Serious........ I'm better looking than him!! I will actually be updating this from time to time., But I would love any suggestions... If anyone has access to Ghost chillies, than Let me know............. edited to remove nonsensical ramblings. Hey buddy.. yeah, it was a shame.. The last week or so in Townsville was severely hectic.. Back in Viet Nam for another 10 months or so.. The weather here is similar to Nth Qld temp wise.. Although its alot wetter.. We get a pretty full on monsoon season here.. If land isnt prepared right, its possible to have areas of water for 2 months at a time.. Thats actually the reason the beds are so high.. To stop it getting washed away in the yearly floods.. We'll def catch up when I'm there next....
