Cereusly Posted November 14, 2011 (edited) the stock has rooted and it's in the sun this guy is using the same Hylocereus i have (or so it seems to me) http://www.cactiguide.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23374&sid=4dae5aabb92a9232471acae7f7d2d6df Hey I post on cactiguide! On the first post on your cactiguide link the stock he is using is not Hylocereus, it's Acanthocereus he's states it later in the thread. The pictures he posts later in the thread appear to be Hylocereus though. Edited November 14, 2011 by Cereusly
Philocacti Posted November 14, 2011 It's a great website, but this is getting very confusing for me. I'll try to go the mother plant i took the cutting from and take a picture of it's flowers or something
Cereusly Posted November 16, 2011 I was looking at some of my plants today and one of them reminded me of your suspicious Hylocereus. Seleicereus Setaceus, often new branches start off with more than 3 ribs. I've seen them start with 5 ribs but they always loose them as the new branch matures kind of like Hylocereus. Just something to think about.
