they're blue, da ba dee...

Question

hello everyone. AFOAF found these in the blue mountains, near a pine forest. as they don't look like the subs i had confirmed in my previous post, i'd love to know any details about them. i think there are two or three species, but again, i'm really not sure. all have various blue staining on their stems and some on their caps, though i'm not sure how noticeable it is in the pictures (or whether this means they are active - also, it should be noted that they were not blue when i found them).

All 3 are subs

Can be a huge degree of variation in subs.

agree. In fact, those are all quite similar when you look at how different subs CAN be. The ones that grow on ferns in rainforest type environments stand out as the most unique I feel. They grow very tall, presumably due to low light levels, with very straight stems, and are usually much greyer than your run of the mill subs.

I know of 2 types at least in the bluies.

One of them is extremely active on a very low dose - swim had crazy visuals & times on 2 fresh shrooms...
