Are these pachanoi?

Question

I've had these little friends for a while and always assumed they were pachanoi - yet the more reading I do the more unsure I become, all this talk about hyprids and scops and short spined peruvians is tearing my brain apart :)

I don't know whether there's a simple answer to this question anymore but I thought I'd ask none the less

I guess a more direct question could be - would a shaman in Peru use these cactus?

Cheers

I really like the alleged T. scopulicola x T. pachanoi (obviously "PC" form). Seriously, someone has to cross T. scopulicola with your proper Ecuador/Peru T. pachanoi. That would be one plant I'd really want.

BIT crossed a nz yowie with the spineless scop from coro cacti, ive got a couple hundred seedlings of it growing now from the seeds he sent me.

Hey man, just a correction - seeds are this thing (maybe even the exact fruit in the pic), which is just a weird pachanoi, not yowie, crossed with a random scop (this was as I got it, I cut up and repotted after pic was taken)

Great to know the seed's viable, I've still not planted any of my own
