Auxin Posted January 3, 2011 I see theres been a few mentions of the eurasian species Hieracium pilosella as a mild psychoactive. Recently, however, I came across a report of the american Hieracium albiflorum being smoked to induce 'intense dreams'. Has anyone experimented with this or noted any dream effect induced by other Hieracium species? Interestingly a 1928 ethnobotanical study mentions an unspecified Hieracium sp. being "Chewed for pleasure." by a tribe from within the native range of H. albiflorum.
