∂an Posted October 5, 2010 hi guys, am going overseas and would like to take some of my herbal and dietary supplements with me. do you think I would encounter difficulties at customs in singapore with Thompson's Kava and Dr Vera's 5-HTP tablets? the bottles are already open now, maybe I should have left them sealed. I don't have prescriptions for them, would this be required in the event of a customs search? thanks in advance, k
Torsten Posted October 5, 2010 the safest thing is to contact customs in singapore for a statement. then print this and keep in the bag with the product as you enter the country. I dont know of any problem with 5HTP, but I'd be careful with kava. singapore is a weird place when it comes to stuff like that.
Bread Filter Posted October 5, 2010 I dont know of any problem with 5HTP, but I'd be careful with kava. singapore is a weird place when it comes to stuff like that. I know that they definitely don't sell 5-HTP or Kava in any "real" shops in Singapore. They went all through all bodybuilding supplements 3 years ago when I was with the Australian team and in uniform. Don't take any chances that you don't have to in Singapore.
