teonanacatl Posted February 17, 2005 check out the amgrow range http://www.gardenking.com.au/fertilisers.htm they got good stuff i recomend their Organix Liquid Fertilisers. for a nitrogenous fert use fish fertiliser or liquid blood and bone. also great is manure, worm castings and compost, liquid teas can be made from all of them. for potasium and phosphorous bird manure is great so are teas from certian plants. mineral fertilisers are slow release and are good as well. seaweed fert has your trace elements plus some goodies to inrich the soil, its more of a pick me up then a fert. waterdragon Posted February 17, 2005 if you've got a vegie garden happening then use all your waste materials to make compost, this can be dug through your garden beds prior to planting or used as a top dressing. much cheaper than buying commercial preps, commercial ingredients can be used in a good compost heap though ie blood and bone will rot down nicely.
