whitewind Posted March 9, 2012 It's like amazing how long everyone followed the rules of this thread. I mean, it has it's moments and then goes back to it's basic premise. The deviation is really quite small. Look, I know chnt is exceptionally deviant, but he keeps to the rules diligently. It's like an addiction. I suspect I'm going to be massively abused when I point this out, since addicts always do when challenged, but I'm quite fascinated. Actually, rather than abuse I expect to be completely ignored, just like last time when I wrote a page of text. It's like that legendary tale of the native Americans not seeing ships on the horizon because what they see doesn't fit with their reality, or the people who walk quickly past a homeless guy on the street and pretend he doesn't exist - and once you're past you can breathe again. Anyway, carry on. Or not. Whatever. Once this page is gone no-one will ever get to read this anyway!
chnt Posted March 9, 2012 it's all good man, awareness is good. i read that page and responded to it in my own way... this is just a fun, light hearted thread anyway, why would you be abused?
whitewind Posted March 9, 2012 It was tongue in cheek, actually. I don't expect to be abused at all! But I just wanted to point out this idea that keeps crossing my mind as I keep coming back to the TWAT and it's why? There's a kind of weird addictive social aspect to it, it reveals a bit the way people think, but like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle and they are tiny, tiny pieces. The picture you build in your mind about someone must be quite quite wrong, but your mind still does it anyway. But above all, I like to break the rules sometimes deliberately just to see what happens. Saying that, it's a bit mean to break up a party just to see how people will react. chnt Posted March 9, 2012 nah it's interesting. breaking rules, following, it's all interesting. it's stream of conscious stuff, it gives an insight into the psyche, i'm interested in the psyche, perhaps you are too... it gives an insight into thought, into connections people make, into disposition and personality, into creativity, into language and a persons knowledge bank of words... kabuto finds this interesting
