Rooftop Gardens

Hi, Just wanted to know if any of you had experience in this? First hand info/experience is always gold :D

I want to try it on my single garage roof, it is flat with corrugated iron and has a slight slope.

I have seen a couple on concrete roof of apartments, slightly sheltered by air-con units etc. Went quite well.

If doing it on a corrugated roof you'd probably want to cover the entire roof, or else any exposed roofing will get really hot and bake your plants. I would be concerned about rust too.
