strangebrew Posted November 2, 2004 I've always known that Agaves were considered to be excellent permiculture plants, one of the best. That article shows why. But don't take as gospel the fact that the Aztec's were cannibals and sacrificed 100,000's of people. The evidence for that is slim and shakey at best, the cannibal refs. in particular, are virtually non-existent. Some think it was Euro propanganda. The population figures at that time don't really allow for anywhere near that amount of people to have been slaughtered. Otherwise it is an excellent article.
