Hi Rogdog, this could be some Mycena sp. I´ll have a closer look at it tomorrow. It´s late around here. bye Eg

Thanks for the quick ID, EG. They do look like Mycena, and unfortunately I was printing onto white printer paper doh! Quicky changed to to tin foil, so I hope to still catch something

Glass ehh? now that is a brilliant idea. I didn't manage to catch any spores, maybe they were white, and I lost them on the white paper.

A good idea is to make prints on petri dishes. You can close them and wrap them in aluminium foil. Thats what i do when i want to keep them. bye Eg

Looks like it could be some half-dried small Coprinus / Coprinellus sp. Hard to tell in this state.

OK, same patch, and a nice fresh sample post-5097-126488763531_thumb.jpg post-5097-126488765979_thumb.jpg

Can some kind person give me a link to a good mushroom ID key?

And how do I go about lifting the print I collected off the mirror?

Thanks in advance :)
