Can you all sort out what bit you roughly want from the photo and let me know - just to clarify, I'll grab the base and just enough to pup from where it's been hacked and the rest can be sent. I'm not great with working out the cheapest way to post, so if you have any ideas on what the best way for your sized piece would be, any help would be much appreciated. If cash is a problem for anyone (~$10 post?, bugger all for the cactus), trades are cool with me. Have 4 smallish macrogonus pups I'll pass on to the first people who ask if they are interested as a bonus. In short, when you get the chance, PM me up with your addy and what section bit roughly (leave it to you all to do the working out of that between yourselves). Quick question : Do I water the pot to rehydrate them before I cut off more limbs? Some of the segments are fairly dehydrated but is that just going to make rot more of a problem? So far: smaller 25cm ish pup from the upper bit in the middle ME chunkier pup in the middle of the shot [blowng] leave spines +macro Side views: 7 x ~50-60cm sections (probably halved to fit for postage) -1 to naja 1m x 70mm with 30cm of it sun scorched 35cm pupping segment Definitely not an "interesting" cactus if anyone was thinking along those lines, just one for the collection. bℓσωηG Posted February 7, 2010 (edited) is it alright if you could please leave the spines on mine...strips of polystyrene taped on around the ribs should stop ol postie gettin stabbed and prevent damage to spines...cheers....oh and i would water to get them plump before the chop , anyone else think so? i usually re cut the cut if its not healed completely and dip in cutting powder whenever i get a new cut anyway Edited February 7, 2010 by blowng Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
