Mr. White Posted December 9, 2009 I got a couple of trichs a few months ago, a peruvianus and a pachanoi. The pachanoi has been growing nicely and the peruvianus hadnt shown any signs of growth until last week. I noticed this morning that the peruvianus has the odd "wrinkles" at its base. It looks like its skin is too big for it, so its wrinkling. Any ideas on whats happening there? The pach has a few lumps on it, with a couple of them forming what look like callouses. The other thing i was a little concerned about was the colour & shape of the growth, its rather yellow and narrower. Etiolation? They're in partial direct sunlight at the moment. flora Posted December 9, 2009 i have noted wrinkling at the base of my trichs too. they can recover from it but im not too sure about what the problem is ... obviously some sort of stress from my observation i think it might be like waterlogging of the roots, possibly combined with baking sun maybe repot them, check out the soil and roots, see if they seem all clammy
