Sola Posted November 17, 2010 I definitely like the ideas of putting them underground or burying with soil. Even if you just had one added as a cellar to an existing house it would be nice and secure, you could possibly use it as a fire refuge and would be nice and cool when the temp rises in summer . Would be good to get one that didn't have residual chemicals in it though. Not sure how you'd get that. Someone in my area recently bought two at auction for $500, total. Then you would just have a couple of culvert pipes for access, ventilation and sky lights only taking up a couple of square meters. Someone in my area recently bought two at auction for $500, total.
