this week in sydney legendary artist Storm Thorgerson who has done album art for Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Mars Volta, Muse just to name a few is having an exhibtion at the Globe Gallery in Paddington this thursday and saturday...he will be appearing in person. great chance to get your vinyl signed or talk to the man himself. this is the dude responsible for the classic 'Dark Side of the Moon' artwork and has provided eye candy for generations of stoned teenagers.

faaaark, I remember reading a book he released 10 years ago about Pink Floyds art (the one he's re-released recently) and loved his stuff.

Wish I could go there to see it :S

i went along on saturday and got some of my floyd and zeppelin records signed. he was a delightful old chap. very witty and friendly....

me: well thanks very much and have a safe trip

storm: i could use a safe trip

he will also be at the gallery this thursday the 11th from 5pm to 9pm for anyone who missed him before.

I finally went with two mates on saturday and it was amazing! I even bought a Giclee print of the Pink Floyd Pulse DVD cover :D I'm so excited I can't wait to pick it up. Bought framed for only around $200 more which included a signed book worth 80.

So many I wanted to buy but this is the one I settled on:
