0 ballzac Posted October 18, 2008 The spines and areoles on top look very much like pasacana. Not so much underneath, but it looks seedgrown, and immature spines tend to look like that on a lot of trichs. The TBM, no idea how old it is. Your guess is probably as good as mine. Yeah man i was thinking the same thing - mines a lot darker green too, but the supposed passacanna in subbos pics, is sort of looking like mine as it gets older, cool i'll try have a pic up by tonight!! Pallarensis is another possibility, but I'd still say pasacana because pallarensis tend to have shorter spines near the top, whereas pasacana spines tend to get quite long while they are on top. It looks completely different, although it really wasn't that easy to see how the spination would turn out, I was just going mainly on the density it had at the top.
