I forgot to mention to dissolve the sugar completely.

One should always stir in one direction only, otherwise

you with crack the syrup. Cracking herbal mixtures is a big no no

for herbal medicine makers!

cracking the syrup? Sounds like garbage to me. how can you crack disolved liquids?

Yes you can add honey instead of sugar.

My recipe is from "Making plant medicine' by Richo Cech. It includes the use of honey.

WRT cracking the mix being bs, try it yourself. stirring one direction cf both.

I don't have the science for why, but assume it has as much to do with the physical

properties of mixing different ingredients as cf chemical properties.
