Wild Plants of Victoria of Ethnobotanical Significance

Recommended Posts

For those interested in a list of plants of ethnobotanical interest found growing in victoria I have a excell file you can download below:

Wild Plants of Victoria of Ethnobotanical Significance

This was sent to me by David C., you might know of him from the last Mini Ethnobotanical conference held in Melbourne.

Explaination of some of the columns:

Origin

* = Originates outside of Victoria

# = Dual Origin Status, native to Victoria but can be found naturalised outside its natural distribution area

AROTS Australian Rare or Threatened Species

R = Rare nationaly

VROTS Victorian Rare or Threatened Species

r = Rare in Victoria

e = endangered

v = vunerable

FFG Flora & Fauna Guarantee

L = Listed under the guarantee

NumGrid A total count of grids a species is found in

I hope this is of any use to people in Vic.
