blangschpeer Posted February 9, 2008 I noticed the other day that my baby Diffusa had almost jumped out of its pot, thinking nothing of this I replanted and gave it a drink..... Today when I was inspecting my collection I found the mushy husk of my baby The thing that really gets me is that this was the first loph I managed to successfully grow from seed and it was definately one of my favorites! The poor little one was just off turning 2. Who would kill such a beautiful infant? Turns out when I tipped the soil out that that there were 3 beetle larvae munching away at whatever they could find in the small pot so with revenge in mind I stabbed them all with a toothpick and fed them shish kebab style to my angel fish. I've now repotted all my other cacti in that spot but that was the only one affected by the little bastards. If anyone has any diffusa they're willing to trade or sell for a reasonable price please let me know, it just feels like there's something missing
