devance Posted April 19, 2007 http://en.epochtimes.com/news/7-3-26/53281.html http://en.epochtimes.com/news_images/2007-...rowing-rock.jpg Only USD 1.3 million. I sure a Aussie or Australian hair growing rock would be cheaper or make your own with a rock a wig and a spray can of paint the colour of ones choice. The chinese one apparently has the new disco flourescent light green type coloured hair . Perhaps a electric blue or red might the choice the discerning hair growing rock would chose to be in style when bought to a rave.
Ace Posted April 20, 2007 I smell a hoax... Has there been any scientific reports/studies on these 'hair growing rocks'? It would be pretty cool if it was legitimate though! Has anyone seen them hairy fish? I'll have a look for a few pics...
MrBumpy Posted April 20, 2007 Has anyone seen them hairy fish? I'll have a look for a few pics... You mean anchovies? thats how my mate decribes them when he has them on his pizza. -bumpy
Ace Posted April 20, 2007 Lol - no, they are some sort of abnormal fish from the cold depths of the Atlantic Ocean. I saw one hanging on the wall of the Ripleys Believe it or Not Surfers Paradise museum. No doubt a few fellow posters have been there and maybe seen it? I cant seem to find one on the Ripleys website, but there is some awesome stuff to flick thru anyway
devance Posted April 20, 2007 Very deep sea fish are very interesting even though usually less than a foot. http://nature-discovery.com/home/nd1/page_..._creatures.html Only way to look at them is through pictures.
ENtiTY Posted April 20, 2007 So has there been an investigation into what is going on with these rocks?
devance Posted April 20, 2007 I would the very first to do so, as I like crytozooics. Easy to debunk with DNA tests. So a scientific test is always in order. The preserved remains will always withstand a scientific test. Scientific instrumentation may not be up to the task at the time of testing but eventually there will be advanced scientific instruments which gives more true results. Jesus On Peyote Posted April 20, 2007 Not the craziest thing weve heard. Does sound strange tho. In the link it says its worth 1.3 mil, does that mean their trying to actively sell it or its just "worth" that much?
devance Posted April 20, 2007 I can only sell one made of the wig and rock and spray paint. That would cost about 14 dollars to produce and UPS shipping which is extra. Another 14 dollars plus more for overnight shipping. Total 50,000 USD. I am very expensive guy to hire.
