XipeTotec Posted February 24, 2007 (edited) how will this plant do during winter? does it mind the cold..what about light frost? I read that it is a bog plant, does that mean that you could sit in a tray of water 13rd of the way up the pot? or does it not like to be immersed? would calamus be kept the same as brahmi, in regards to moisture? coin Posted February 24, 2007 i'm in melbourne and we get frost....brahmi will not grow much at all through the winter and it doesn't look healthy...it gets straggly and yellows a bit...but it does survive. once the summer heat kicks in again, it puts out a lot of healthy growth. you can definitely keep it immersed in the manner you described. it does well in very large self-watering pots with regular feeds
