Extraction Question

Hello,

I have a question for the elvin chemists out there in regards to alkaloid extraction. A friend, on several occasions has attempted extractions from various acacia species with varying success. It would seem the problem he is having revolves around his home made separatory funnel. Made from a juice bottle with a small fish tank hose tap at the base, the devices problems are numerous. Therefore my question is, where might he obtain a real one, or what would you guys suggest as an alternative?
