sobriquet Posted October 1, 2006 Hi all, Just wanted to share two photos of my most recent friends. The first is an Eileen rooted cutting acquired from planthelper here. Great little specimen and he looks as if he likes his spot already The other is a cute pachanoi pup from Tripitaka here. She spent quite a long time without sunlight due to postal delays but again I've placed her into a nice dry cactus mix where I'm hoping she'll take root soon. 2 weeks maybe? I'm really looking forward to these grwoing over the coming months and will upload photos during their life. Thanks to both these members for their help

The Eileen's longer spikes / armour remind me of a masculine trait, whereas the smaller and gentler spikes of the pachanoi are altogether more feminine
-bijanto- Posted October 2, 2006 (edited) Nice collections there sobriquet..! They look healthy. Seeing those pics, it reminds me of the days when I ate some slices of pachanoi - just like eating fresh cucumber, only that one tasted like hell - and I did it while a friend was taking my pict. No wonder I looked so bad in that pict, hahahaahh!! Edited October 2, 2006 by -bijanto-
