Smiling Cloud Posted August 16, 2002 I found a heap of mexican poppy growing near a cane field and made an extract. Heres the recipe. Get shopping bag amount of mex poppy and put in blender. when the whole lot is chopped up put in a glass bowl. cover with water. put this sauce pan in a bigger pot with water in it. Heat the whole lot up for 3hrs stirring occaisonally. strain and put back into glass bowl in big pot on stove. This will evaporate very slowly leaving all the goodies behind. the result is a dark brown sweet smelling sticky tar.
