BlackDragon Posted July 29, 2006 I agree with Bmeanie, Ive only seen this sorts of cramping issues with woodlovers. I am interested to see that the people mentioned physical problems havent stated weather it was wood loving or dung lovers(i agree BM again, dunglovers seem much healthier on the body as a whole). Im definately thinking secondry agents are at work here, and yes perhaps taken from the wood. Maybe differening woods used as substrates may be a place to start ... Intersting, I wonder if cubes grown on a semi-wooded/wooded substrate would too form these unwanteds. Ill have to wait till my next trip overseas to find out.... ballzac Posted July 30, 2006 All of my FOAF's mushroom trips have been with subaeruginosa. He now feels that he would like to try some coprophilious species' for comparison, and maybe a couple of other xylophilious species' too.
