themagicmushroom Posted June 26, 2006 Does anybody have S. Splendens with a known high splendidine(sp?) content? I have interest in any other salvia species too, Officinalis, etc. Nothing to swap atm except a pedro cutting, happy to pay with that horrible thing called money though... PM me. Rev Posted June 26, 2006 (edited) try sue templeton http://www.salviaspecialist.com/ a great range and THE starting point for any new sally research buy a few and take cuttings ill definitely find things to trade then as i need a few from there but havent had the $ to buy recently pretty good at about $6 each i had a list of 18 i wanted so send me your selection and we can compare notes i have already at th nursery i work at and can propaget in spring anthony parker black knight canariensis leucantha all stunning black night looks like its very close to splendens as do the other Salvia guaranitica derived hybrids Herbalistics had Dan shen - Salvia miltiorhizza as well. i still have it but mine is small at the moment after it got shaded out by rampant lemongrass. That one has definite pharmacologhical activity as a sedative - GABA pathway i hazard q guess?? look it up Edited June 26, 2006 by Rev
