teonanacatl Posted June 14, 2006 Ive got aluminium and plastic backed TLC plates without fluorescence available, plates are 20x20 cm (you can cut them smaller) for $4 each. A 5x10cm plate is the usual size i use so you get 10 in a 20x20cm plate. Most indole alkaloids will fluoresce under a normal black light so observing them is easy. Id recomment aluminium backed plates for people without vizualisation reagents as you can view under black light then charr the plate on a hot plate to see the rest of the compounds.
