Plantsoma Posted April 19, 2006 Does anyone know what is eating my Sceletium? Im sure ive seen it discussed here years ago but cant find a relevent post. Also how to solve this problem would be great, as it has eaten through over 100 rooted cuttings .
Gunter Posted April 19, 2006 Are they being eaten? Or dying? How old are they? I notice mine like summer dry and winter wetter or they die in summer.
planthelper Posted April 20, 2006 (edited) nothing has eaten your scelly! thats a sign of old age and neglect, if you nurture them more this symptoms hardly will show up. so use more fert, bigger pots, more water and start again with new cuttings!! once the plants look like this they hardly will jump back into virgor again even if you start to pamper them. so this is a natural sign of old age, no pest. thats why this plant is called sceletium. as they are cuttings it means you didn't water them enough, scelly is a thiersty plant. aswell those pots are so small, nutes did/will run out fast.
