I got some acuminata tube stock from a national park nursery, they also sold seeds of accuminatas so if you know of any around yor area might be worth sussing. I agree with hillbilly on the bonding, I feel closest to my obtusi, watched him grow from a little seed feels like a part of me Don't stop at accuminatas though get a nice variety, all acacias are beautiful! Hey mutant I wouldn't be to worried about the accuminatas slow growth, the 2 I got have hardly moved compared to the rest of my acacia sp I think they are just awesomely slow. I always try and let them completely dry out before watering would definitely be inclined to keep it on the dryer side over winter Nice looking madenii btw sweet score! Got an update for mine, he was looking really droopy in the shade house a few days ago so I moved him outside with my others and he's loving it!!!! The growth seems to have taken off ive just been checking it twice a day or so for any signs of burning, had to put him back in the shade house yesterday arvo cos the sun was brutal. It's getting sun behind trees until about 2pm then full sun until sunset.

Main thing ive heard about with scraping for nitrogen fixing bacteria is just getting your hand and grabbing a handful of soil from around the base and just sprinkle it around the top of the soil with the seeds. I didn't do anything like that with mine though didn't seem to matter. It's just a debco brand native mix, can't find the bag looked it up didn't really say what exactlys in it but it looks like its got bark, some gravel, some sort of nutrient for natives but it's a pretty chunky mix either way. Haha nice I guess as long as its well enough draining then anything would do, I'm just using commercial native mix, peat pellets work best (in my short experience) for germ. That's next to one sowed same time, all the others (before dying) were the size of the one on the left or smaller. But the bigger one is beasting out, only go check on them every 3 days or more and there's always some small new growth happening Side on it looks like a bird, or a plane or something haha Gotten some different sp of acacia from some very generous people off here going to have to get them started quick smart!

I know you aren't looking for internet hearsay but I've read that a buttload of niacin (I'm pretty sure) can help flush the system. I've never personally had to try it but what I've read seems effective. Not at home ATM when I get back I'll see if I can hunt down the link. Best of luck to your mate.

I love any supplements by BSN, they make potent shit mainly for bodybuilding, have used some of their stuff for studying also gets you really mentally alert.

Cheers for the kind words guys I'll get some pics of the other ones I sowed at the same time, very big difference it's weird the one in the above pic has absolutely rocketed in comparison. I'll take some pics of some other acacias I got, picked them up from a nursery as tubestock, got 2 acuminatas, a melaloxolin, longfolia and podyrafiiolia (spelling may be way way off lol) all about 50cm. I don't mind the old man growth, im lookin forward to enjoying it when it's a full grown tree I'll be heaps proud of myself acacias are beautiful. Thanks for the compliments, peace.
