    dog problem

Could get some dog repellant, seen it at the supermarket dont know how/if it works though. Or maybe smear the outside of the cage with chilli?
  2. There's an awesome setup at one of the markets down here called Adelaide chilli source, they have a whole heap of chillifactory sauces got some "scorpion strike stupidly hot BBQ sauce" I think it's around 60% trinidad scorps, was stupid enough to try half a teaspoon as soon as I got home, was intense! Bottles lasted me over 3 months now only need a few drops on whatever you're making

    Ethnobotanicals & dogs

I have to have everything in pots until they are big enough to withstand dopey greyhounds, and one of them loves pissing directly on any plant and veg and even aims his ass right over them and poops They love wagging their tales and are always whipping one of my cacti, doesn't seem to bother them but GHs are pretty docile they're probably not even noticing the spines going in their tails hahaha If I'm starting something off in the ground I'll put a milk crate over it so the dogs can't get them

    Pot Bound Acacia

I got some tubestock of various acacias last year who's roots were in the same state as yours are, didn't try and spread the roots or anything just put them into a bigger pot, took a few weeks for them to pick back up but they are doing just fine, so far they've survived summer in full sun and done fine during winter out in the cold and wet they (for me anyway) don't seem nearly as fragile as people put out to be, even my obtus seedlings have been roughing it outside since before Christmas and they only just hit a year old last month. Great deal btw, sad to hear its from a place that's shutting down though

    Happy Birthday Ballzac

Or a third of the way to 90 Happy birthday ballz, have a good one bud
  21. I don't get why they called it secretive location, the address is in the nursery tab on the shop right there for the world to see, not hidden at all??????!!!!?!! Soooo confused!!!
  22. Thanks for sharing was eager to watch it but I only get foxtel. What a joke, I like how they threw in the syringes to make it look like we're all bunting these cacti and ayas directly into our veins, not for innoculation of cakes of anything no not at all It's all about the manufacturing of these super new brain damaging party drugs And that quote from T, the whole ..... In between the last two lines just make it blatant that it was taken out of context. Oh also, hi to all the guests that have come here because of the segment welcome to the forum!!
  23. Went to Bunnings yesterday to get a friend a cacti as a housewarming gift, it was a mess to say the least, pots there werent draining properly, absolutely full to the brim with water, and then some unrecogniseable mush in the centre of the pots they were calling cacti So I went back today and grabbed a couple lithops and a cheiridopsis peculiaris, they werent ruined yet so I thought I'd snap them up before the idiots kill everything they got. Got them into bigger pots and some dryer soil, top layer of white sand (wanted to use stones but didn't have any available) hope they like their new homes I don't understand Bunnings sometimes, it's pretty simple to not water cacti and succulents, way easier then watering them I thought
