Is there any particular reason tripsis? I have friends that go every year but I have always missed out for some reason or another. I fear that I may have missed out on the good years though... And your comments about Doof Pirates makes me wish I had blown off my other plans that weekend and gone like I was going to do . Marcel, you would have to wait quite a while for Regrowth (R.E.G.E.N) as you just missed the last one in April. I usually wait to hear about events through friends but if they are being lazy I check Australiens (http://www.australiens.net/). However, these are mainly doofs, so it may not be exactly what you are looking for. The next upcoming ones listed there are: Saturday, 13th August 2011 Sounds Psylly 3 (NSW) the biggest line up so far Saturday, 3rd September 2011 METATHEORY (NSW) Outdoor Mega Festivalus - SYDNEY Saturday, 17th September 2011 LOOSE VIBEZ 2011 (NSW) ARTISTS AND DJ All of these are only a few hours from Sydney but they are all only 1 night I think. If you can wait till March (and will travel to Melbourne) next year there is Maitreya Festival (http://www.maitreyafestival.com/). Also, 30th September - 3rd October there is a 4 day festival called Dragon Dreaming in Canberra (http://www.dragondreaming.net/). You might want to check these out to see what suits you most. I can't personally comment on any that you have listed as I haven't been to them. I usually hit up smaller parties and parties which are full-on psy. Last one I went to was Southern Oracle, but that was in QLD and it is was only a few weeks back. Sorry, I probably just gave you too many extra options .

That's true. It does have it's time and place I suppose. I have tried Fijian Kava and Kava in Vanuatu (which I've heard is the most active); both in varying quantities and different settings (Nakamals, traditional feasts, at home). I would probably try it again as an extract or cola but I don't think I would drink that peppery mud again.

That's what I would have thought. And personally I think there was a false-positive in the test. I mean, why would they put other drugs in the mix when they already had a good thing going?

Maybe, I don't know why you would though. You can grow kava pretty easily. And I've had massive amounts of kava and it's not that great IMO.
