  1. Its only one example but theres a national park spitting distance from where i live and i visit most days and there are heaps of obtusifolia and a few phlebb. but they are all babies i have yet to find one taller than chest -high. wondering if these species have trouble growing to full maturity or if I am maybe not venturing far enough off the beaten path...If it is true about the relatively high content of psychoactive alkaloids in the phyllodes of other acacia species (floribunda maybe???) wouldnt it be wise of a community like this to get that info out and about as much as possible and maybe slow down the de-barking thats happening (if it is rampant)

.......but i think this has already been discussed on another thread and I think there is some argument about the reported content of phyllodes

......and PH I was complimenting your internenettining skills and I dont know what vesicious means :scratchhead:

  2. My daughter found this pretty little lady growing in the storm water drain at the bottom of the garden the area is overgrown with black-eyed susans but a few of these have found there way through...the ants and the neighbours dog seem to love the flowerspost-9779-0-80845500-1346285029_thumb.jppost-9779-0-89168800-1346285162_thumb.jppost-9779-0-26786900-1346285322_thumb.jpsorry if the pics are a wee bit blurry but its my wives camera and its really bloody complicated :scratchhead: ........If the answer is really obvious I apologise, but i did try googlatining the intermenet first and all this is quite a steep learning curve.

  3. chickawawah!!

edit: should also mention that I did this for about 3 months once and since then have only managed to do it for about 1 day every 2-3 months or so.......i spend about a week telling myself im going to start the next day and then do it once and then cant be fucked for ages but yeh still a god damn sexual tyranosaurus

no good with my hands but have really big feet

  4. you could try this one:

    wake up early

salute the sun a few times to get your zen on

    strong as fuck coffee

exercise bike from cruise to flat out over 10-15minutes till the endorphines and caffeine combine to turn you into some sort of crazed push-up/crunch doing animal

    50 push-ups

    50 crunches

repeat these 3 times (150 each)-work up to that over first two weeks

lots of oaty muesli for breaky

6 bananas for smoko or lunch

6 more thu rest of the day

eat whatever else you want all day

squeeze in some surfing, bodyboarding, swimming or yoga whenever possible

chin-ups till you cry before bed

in no time you will be a "god damn sexual tyranosaurus just like me"

  5. lol at myself in a panic in the wee small hours of sunday morning downloading mindperformers threads after seeing this one and planthelper thinks to just quote the threads........apparently my internetting needs a lot of practice

thanks mindperformer for the awesome info and photos and thanks planthelper for the internet schooling

  6. Tried the Thompsons 1/day for two months after 30 days I tried 6 at one time to no avail, then after 60 days I tried 10 at one time which at 35 mg per tablet should be (i think) about the strength of an average?? cup of Kava brew....... again a big fat NOTHING. I have given myself a couple of months break from any and all medication since but I kind of slightly feel there might have possibly been a very, very minor benefit :wacko:from taking the dailymicrodose??

  7. okeedoekee, I really appreciate your advice, will carefully repot tomorrow in fresh potting mix....I reckon you are spot-on , it would have been soggy wet feet for too long and then maybe not enough moisture since I repotted her( trying to avoid my previous mistake)....but yeh nothing has completely sprouted for a long time-sob, sob, sob

edit did use fresh tiptop potting mix for repotting and apart from the water torture I have always treated my mama well- no dropping

  8. Had just taken some leaf cuttings and a couple of thin stem cuttings this morning in a plastic lidded seedling tray thingy, so I appreciate the advice about the need for bottom heat-cheers planthelper and i had replanted the mama a coulple of weeks ago so I wondered if maybe the purple tinge was perhaps stress from the replanting combined with the unhappy roots..

'Magyvered' myself a heatpad out of an upsidedown dinner plate sitting on a pizza stone perched on a couple of eggcups standing over an old coffee warmer pad sitting on a saucer, all sitting on the kitchen bench under a skylight :) (do cuttings need much light?)

Esselbee, I wish I had some advice to give you other than maybe take some leaf cuttings while the mama's going strong instead of waiting until I have...

  9. but plant's which suffer from root rot, will never recover or reshoot.

thank good p. viridis is very tolerant of over watering.

Dagnabbit!!! think you just explained why mine hasn't done much for a while

overwatered it last summer and I thought it may have been on the brink of recovery but any new growth ( and there hasnt been much) seems to not quite shoot properly almost like leaves are stuck together :scratchhead: and they have a purplish tinge as of this week :scratchhead: :scratchhead: :scratchhead:

  10. I thought arts degrees were all about helping to encourage our next generation of free-thinkers...not fascist-fuck security guards, maybe i'm just ignorant to what an arts degree is. Sorry I dont want to derail this thread as it interests me greatly. My wife has a pretty massive esoteric library and I thought we would find heaps on potentiating things by burying them but not much chop so far. My little old grandpa in scotland used to bury scotch in the backyard and joke about it being for the pixies but dad reckons it was because it came off the back of a lorry

  11. if this is (and I hope its not!!) the start of shitstorm for you why dont you talk to some producers-maybe even the great guys at channel7 and maybe look into making a SAB reality tv show, there would be heaps of action and plenty of comic relief thanks to the NNSW popo's and lots of delicious cactus porn...cant fail i reckon.

  12. ^watched a show hosted by Eli Roth where they redid this experiment and I do beleive the recent one showed worse results but these experiments do show that one person making a stand against 'the man' can be the catalyst for others to stand up to authoritarian shenanigans

  13. reading all the talk of magic, illusion, freewill etc. on this thread got me thinking about this doco with sir Martin Rees called "Are we real" and I went to re-watch it again at http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/what-we-still-dont-know/ and before i hit play I seen an ad for Open Universities Australia offering a bachelor of arts (security, terrorism and counter-terrorism)............Whatthefuck!!!! I dont want to live in this country/planet anymore....going to bury myself in the backyard and see what potentiates :(:BANGHEAD2:
