ok so after smoking said 'herb' and taking only valerian the results were no visuals but a very much more so than usual heavyness. I think that it could indeed be many of the herbs potentiate the effects especially considering my size. I think passion flower may be the answer Mac and I admitt I'm quite excited by this as to what other things it could go well with! so I will get some and post my findings after trialing it with a friend of course to compare results .. As for vision snow, I dont think it sounds much like that but I think I know what you mean by it...it was much more wild erratic but geometric and colourful too.

are any of the others apart from valarian of interest in this regard?

Yes I have never had anything but sleepiness with just valerian either but the combination proved interesting. The OEV's are a little hard to explain, like small rectangles of black and white and thin coloured bands fittings together and buzzing about everywhere, this was i guess realistically in my minds eye but was very overpowering with eyes open and appeared to be in my vision, the lamp appeared to be flicking on and off very slowly almost strobe like but in slow motion so the whole room was flashing appart from that the CEV's were just many patterns of different colour and meaning and other more typical effects like everyhing appearing very 3D after the OEV's were gone though of course it's hard to remember alot. I know that other people experience CEV's normally so it was also a possiblity that these other herbs allowed her to relax into it more easily and go with it

Hey so I was wondering if anyone could help me out. After a FOAF took some sleep ezy pills which contained valerian, hops, chamomile and passion flower and smoking a 'herb' (half hour later) she experienced CEV's and mild/moderate OEV's after just a few puffs. This blew her away as she had never had these before on this particular 'herb'. So she's now wondering what did it? What are people's thoughts?

^ I'd second that, if you live around brisbane think acacia ridge to ipswich and surrounding areas if you were to take specimens to ID or collect seeds. Sorry that I can't give you specifics though
