jealousy and possesiveness are natural feelings (not putting you in that box) but was in an open relationship for 7 years and it worked well. Maybe this is not something you can handle. Its a tough one and i feel for you bro ! Whatever happens im sure you will always be a big part of her heart and i doubt she would ever forget what you have done for her. Respect to the girl for being honest and open ! Whatever happens make sure you dont ruin the chance of being friends in the future - a mistake i made from getting bitter and still regret to this day
All the best man - no doubt the universe shall unfold as planned
peace
(edit) its an old saying but its a good one ! 'If you love something set it free and if it comes back you know...'

the bigger the pot the better. they like to spread their roots.
Use a native potting mix and a little osmocote slow-realeas ferts. They are fine outside in the cold. The ones I hgave sent you spent all winter in the hills at temps around zero at times. DONT overfertilise.
Remember, google and the search engine are your friend

this is what she sent me in regards to the order :
I will remove the labels and write only articlenumber on the bag.

yeah mate - im in australia

Not sure if I am posting this in the right forum, but here goes
Some time ago i ordered a reasonable amount of seeds from a reputable german cacti seed vendor.
I just recieved a confirmation following enquiry that the seeds were sent on the 10th of august. I was given a tracking number that does not seem to work when i put the # in the australian post tracking requests ?
So its been a week and im starting to bite my fingernails a little !
Can anyone else who has ordered seed from overseas tell me if they should have arrived by now ? im getting concerned customs/quarantine may be having a look at my parcel - the seeds were sent unlabelled i believe ?
Does it generally take longer than this for an overseas order ?
Any input would be very much appreciated - thanks, TIPZ

well it's been ten days. They are still very plump and healthy and fully attached, but as yet not showing signs of growth. Im going to repot the grafting stock into larger pots and see if that helps. cheers for the advice wt

it is most definately relevant Sally, no argument there ! And i strongly believe many of his recordings and photos have been adulterated in the past. The technology to manipulate images these days is now at the point where even experts have trouble picking the fakes. The one above is batantly obvious.
'I' just think really offensive images should have a link followed by an explanation of content and perhaps a warning of graphic images, that way those with the stomach for it can still view the 'relevant' content and those that dont wish too see such things at least have a choice in the matter.
Its just being considerate.

well im going to attemp to graft an areole today.
It will be my first attempt so ill try a few. Ill be using peres. Then hopefully an id will be not too far off !
the fisrt photo labelled as echinopsis multiplex was a user submitted photo and was self identified as far as i know ( pulled from google images ? ) the second one is a trichocereus schickendantzii ( with a little imagination i can see it being this ) the next photo is my crest. But really im now thinking Echinocereus multiplex v. oxigona crest ( which is the 4th photo )
(edit to add photos )
-
That rings so true. wise words - thankyou !
-
almost identical to that multiplex above, the spination is slightly darker though. Still a beautifull plant that came with some awesome crystals scattered around the base :D Very happy with the find !
Ill get some more detailed pictures when i get my new camera early next week.
I was also told she 'thinks' she can recall it flowering some time ago

all trades being waited upon by me will be sent tomorrow unless a pm is sent requesting to be sent monday to avoid acacias sitting over the weekend. Was planning to get done today but on the way out to pick up my crest i found, my exhaust fell off.
Im not asking for payment until they have been sent - so hope it has'nt put anyone out too much. Just get in touch if you want to change our pre-arranged agreements. Thanks for all your patience

I am yet to pick it up - i am going to buy all three of her advertised cactus ( even though i have no need for the golden torch ) Im going to take her a nice bottle of vino too
If it does flower, I will let you guys know straight away for some recomendations for breeding stock, and share the resulting seedstock around ! ( i still have a lot to learn )
