  1. http://www.afp.gov.au/media-centre/news/afp/2013/march/joint-operation-targets-drugs-sent-via-the-mail.aspx

This is a joint media release with the Australian Federal Police, Victoria Police and Australian Customs and Border Protection Service.

Australian law enforcement agencies have completed a strategic blitz on drug importations via the international mail system, arresting 20 people and seizing 18.1 kg of illicit drugs worth $8.2 million.

The joint Australian Federal Police, Australian Customs and Border Protection Service and state law enforcement operation saw 38 search warrants conducted in five states and the Northern Territory during recent weeks.

Among the 21 drug types seized were LSD, heroin, steroids, ecstasy, cannabis, methamphetamine, GHB and cocaine.

Illicit substances were concealed in cushions, a handbag, prints, a jade dragon, cosmetic brushes, birthday cards and other letters and parcels.

The interception of LSD during the blitz was particularly interesting, with 1100 tabs seized in Brisbane and 1000 tabs seized in Melbourne.

Of particular note, one man was charged with six offences in Victoria for importing 1.36 kilogram of Ice from China, while another Victorian man was charged with four offences for importing MDMA, ecstasy and amphetamine in both tablet and powder form.

  3. OK there is substantial interest. .

Bear with me guys... It's going to take a little while on this one.

I think the best thing to do would be just to ask everyone to send their forwarding names and addresses. keep it short and simple because I will have 30 - 40 to dig through . Ill then bag up portions by eye. You might not get all the species but I will make sure everyone gets a fair whack of seed.

  4. OK I have just sorted and seperated all the seeds I generously recieved from Micromegas.

As agreed I will be giving them all away ( all but a few for my nursery )

each species was open pollinated in a field of flowering trichs and could "potentially" be crossed with anything which is kind of cool.

    So we have :

    Goliath OP many thousands.

Bridge OP ( labelled unk - may be certain clone - will have to find out) around 1000

    Bruce OP 300 seeds

    Psycho0 OP 200 seeds

    Super pedro OP 300 seeds

    Macrogonus OP 4-500 seeds

Validus OP ( very very few... maybe 30 seeds after I take ten )

    Yowie OP 4-500

    cuzco OP 300

    Scopulicola OP 400

The way I am thinking of doing it is getting a rough idea of interest and then perhaps making up portions to suit the number of people.

You might not squeeze in on the validus but should be able to at least get a portion of the rest. And a heap of Goliath which is one of my favourite plants.

So :) Who is keen to lay down some seed ??

open to all states and all members B)

(edit) parents and possible pollen donors pictured from page 4 onwards in Micromegas' posts here http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=33701&page=4

  5. I have been diagnosed with adult ADHD.

( although most would say that I do not show any symptoms and have played the fiddle to a gullible doctor to gain the maximum allowable dosage of dex. But what do they know anyway ? )

Why do you ask Rimbaud ?

  9. A lot to read and watch, but If your really interested it is worth the effort.

http://www.globalresearch.ca/kony-2012-merchandising-and-branding-support-for-us-military-intervention-in-central-africa/29652 this article has more in depth analysis of the Kony campaign. ( one of many psy-ops )

A lot to read and watch, but If your really interested it is worth the effort.

Psychological operations are planned operations to convey selected information and indicators to audiences to influence their emotions, motives, objective reasoning, and ultimately the behavior of governments, organizations, groups, and individuals.[1]

The purpose of United States psychological operations (PSYOP) is to induce or reinforce behavior favorable to US objectives. They are an important part of the range of diplomatic, informational, military, and economic activities available to the US. They can be utilized during both peacetime and conflict. There are three main types: strategic, operational, and tactical. Strategic PSYOP include informational activities conducted by the US government agencies outside of the military arena, though many utilize Department of Defense (DOD) assets. Operational PSYOP are conducted across the range of military operations, including during peacetime, in a defined operational area to promote the effectiveness of the joint force commander's (JFC) campaigns and strategies. Tactical PSYOP are conducted in the area assigned to a tactical commander across the range of military operations to support the tactical mission against opposing forces.

PSYOP can encourage popular discontent with the opposition's leadership and by combining persuasion with a credible threat, degrade an adversary's ability to conduct or sustain military operations. They can also disrupt, confuse, and protract the adversary's decision-making process, undermining command and control.[2] When properly employed, PSYOP have the potential to save the lives of friendly or enemy forces by reducing the adversary's will to fight. By lowering the adversary's morale and then its efficiency, PSYOP can also discourage aggressive actions by creating disaffection within their ranks, ultimately leading to surrender.

PSYOP is a component of information operations:

The integrated employment of the core capabilities of electronic warfare, computer network operations, psychological operations, military deception, and operations security, in concert with specified supporting and related capabilities, to influence, disrupt, corrupt or usurp adversarial human and automated decision making while protecting our own.

  10. a 400 w ballast will run 600 w bulb it will just be dimmer i have a 250 watt ballast and i use 400w hps in it

I thought the bulb wattage must be matched to the ballast. From my understanding, a smaller bulb will usually be fed a wattage close to what the proper bulb takes, and will generally overheat and may catastrophically fail. Any catastrophic failures may not necessarily happen quickly.

A larger bulb will be underpowered, and will operate at reduced efficiency and may have a shortened lifetime as well as putting out a reduced spectrum not just less lumens.

The ballast may also overheat from prolonged operation with an oversized bulb that fails to warm which can be a danger. Far from optimal considering the price difference between the two ballasts is quite small.
