Native Psychotria from FNQ Giveaway\Swap
keller212 replied to keller212's topic in Seed & Plant Swaps
Looking at the photo's i don't think that's the one... If you look at the underside of the leaves of the p. loniceroides the veins are clearly white/ish unlike the one i have the veins on the underside are the same color as the rest of the leaf. Also the p. loniceroides does not occur this far north. -
Native Psychotria from FNQ Giveaway\Swap

Hey, Yeah still in the tablelands. -
Hi all. (Sorry for multiple posts, Moderator please put thread in appropriate category) About two years ago i found a seedling of a native Psychotria growing in the Atherton Tablelands in FNQ. I have yet to find any info about it, i beleive it has not been officially named\ID'd yet. The plant is now starting to flower (as seen in pics) & it has very fury (Pubescent) leaves & stems (as seen in pics). It is now established enough that i would be happy to take leaf cuttings for anyone who is interested in wanting to grow from leaf cutting. It may (possibly) be of interest for research purposes, like certain tryptamines contained in some of the South American relatives. Anyone who wants some leaf cuttings to propagate from (1 Leaf per person) If done properly you should be able to get at least 3-4 plants from a leaf. please PM me. Photo's:

Anyone got any seeds left willing to send a few up my way to FNQ ? I am based up in the Tablelands & would make a very good home for them. I would be happy to do a swap if i have anything that might be of interest to anyone, and also cover any postal costs etc...

Would this: http://www.shaman-au...?showtopic=3703 apply in this situation ? (Harmine [scheduled] & Tetrahydroharmine [Not Scheduled])
-
As far i am aware Tetrahydroharmine (THH) is not scheduled or illegal to import into Australia (According to the list of Prohibited Imports)... Can anyone confirm this ? Thanks.
