    hi all

    so ive come back from 6 months away and moved back in with my dad, so i went to my old rental and dug all my cacti up. I put the smaller ones at my dads place so i can help them when they need it, but i put all the big oness out at my mums place(an hour away) because i thought i could just leave them. I went back up last week and they all have been attacked by what i first thought was slugs but then saw little bits of cacti sprinkled all around where they had been ruined, so now i think it is birds. They have been eaten all on the tips and even some arms are nearly eaten through! It took ages replanting them(and got full of spines) and had to borrow a ute. so if anyone has any tricks to keep them away it would be awesome if i dont have to re-replant them back down my way)

    it was me who first asked mate and you responded with "how original" and "are you even 18 yet". A pretty irrevelent immature reply if you ask me, how old are you? Because your the one who sounds like the typical young aussie yobbo raised by racist parents and john howard, or are you the racist old man raising your kids that way? The captain cook question and the what mob question are effectively the same and im sorry i have to spell the meaning out to you, are you aboriginal? no? then where do we begin sending people back to where they came from, or do we just turn the boats around? if so is turning away refugees and illeagal immigrents really going to fix overpopulation issues?

    Lucky we have this carbon tax coming in wich is fundamentaly to reduce emissions and the enext step the government brought in was to scrap the solar incentive plan early, i dont follow politics but this piece of retardation to me completely blows their enviromental tax out of the water exposing it as nothing but a money making scheme (not that i thought it would be anything else)

    I don't know how much of greece I am going to see because I want to sail and scuba through the islands but don't really think I have the time I would like to spend there so will probably go back another time and do it all I'm hoping

    I don't think I can get an international licence because I lost it over here and eurail looks good, can only get tickets valid over a couple months tho I think?

    Good idea with the money pouch hadn't thought of anythnig like that yet but also hiding my passport in my bum sounds like a lot of fun and a good idea too! Haha cheers for the replys

    ^ millions of events happen today, many are bound to happen at the same time as a similar incidence. these events, although no more significant, are played up in the mind. a schizophrenic friend of mine believes the occurence of coincidence in his life to demonstrate his telepathic ability, as if he was the only one effected by chance

     

    i would agree in most cases as ive had sober visual and auditory hallucinations a bunch times, hearing my name being called out in empty houses and seeing stuff that isnt there also when i close my eyes for a while i see vivid faces alot of the time, and i play it off as just my mind tripping out a bit and nothing more . but thing that happened with my girlfriend wasnt me seeing visions or anything, i witnessed something else happen wasnt any kind of hallucination or anything it was just weired.

    not nearly as weird as ghosts or jesus but heres my story.

    my brother had been trying to become an airforce pilot for a while, he had been through all the preliminary tests and then last thing found out he was too tall(think that would be first thing they checked). he wasnt devistated mostly pissed off he wasted a bunch of time. that night after a BIG night of raving i was laying in bed with my girlfriend she was falling asleep i was playing on my phone and she was rolling around muttering jibberish when she looked at me with the strangest look and said in a voice that was hers but a very strange tone and she said "oh no my chances of being a pilot are ruined"then rolled straight over and went to sleep, and she didnt know anything about the situation with my brother! he was asleep in the next room aswell so i lyed awake thinking for a while, an extreme conincidence or something more? i dont know, i havnt witnessed any other occourences like this has anyone else?

    Yeah a broad ask i know but im gone for 5 months with no real itinery so its gonna be a broad trip! when my shengen visit is up ill be spending the last 2 months in the uk going to the whole castle thing (as much as i can before GF gets bored haha). flying into barcelona at first then making my way down to portugal for boom then probs do some sightseeing through spain (alhambra looks awesome) on way to croatia. after oktoberfest ill probly head through amsterdam on way to uk, is it worth it? and ill definately look into christiania. thanks for the replys guys

    Me, my girlfriend, and 4 mates from school are going on a semi planned trip through europe were all 21, its a few of our first times over seas. i will be doing festivals and events with my mates but splitting up and doing some couple stuff with the girlfriend too. definate destinations are boom festival in portugal, outlook festival in croatia and oktoberfest (28th july to 26th september for us) nothing else really booked yet and have till mid december there, so im guessing im asking;

    anyone been to any of these festivals?

    any must see locations/ favourite destinations?

    tips or even some cool stories?

    im interested in medieval and historical sights and also any parties and events that are worthy! so yeah any tips or stories would be appreciated.

    Had a thought while reading this thread, it is said through decrimanalisation or legalisation use is lowered, so this means some people are doing drugs because they are are illeagal, maybe because they see it as a way they can rebel against their government and law wich they see as fun or benificial to their image. So with legalisation what will these people turn to? Will they turn to real crimes (i say real crimes because i dont see drug use as a real crime, just a stupid veiw by stupid people who do not not use their power even nearly correctly, why i dont vote) or will they see societys negative veiws on drugs as a way of rebellion enough? A rise in motor vehicle deaths maybe?

    On the other end maybe th government keeps drugs illegal as a way of control not for our actions but for our thoughts? They dont care what we do to ourselves just that we are preoccupied with something harmless to them and that we think we are doing something to rebel or sticking it to the man just by smoking a bit of weed or whatever insted of using our desire to ask questions or act against a power we dont agree with, im not saying this is predominately the view people doing these things , but i know if i wasnt putting thought into things i do being illegal (if i did anything) and why they shouldnt be, i would be putting more thought, asking more questions and maybe acting on more important stupid laws and policys our and other governments have in place. So things like this thread and debates are what they want, the people with voice to be concerning themselves with something really not affecting them, even more reason for these prohibitions and laws to be removed and for us to move away from these stupid views and ideas of control and put time and thought and actions into something important.
