If you want to buy some lophs, watertrade is the man. I have got some beautiful plants from him before that were very well priced aswell
thanks coolname, very kind of you
-
when I bought mine they were seed grown and showed lotsnlotsa pupping. thats why I call it caespitosa.
no offence intended mate.
no offence taken I was actually kind of supporting your statement and explaining what I have seen with grafted plants. I have no reason to doubt you
-
looks like caespitosa to me.
I was sold these as genuine l.W.
when they are grafted they do funny things and often don't express their true 'natural' states i.e. lots of pupping

I have lots of lophs if anyone else is interested ! and I really need the money.

I just counted the seeds from this seed pod. Exactly 80 seeds! I have never seen anything like it!
Zelly - you know loph seeds ;) have you ever seen anything like that?
I thought I found a contender to beat the 'number of seeds in one pod' prize but alas, only 54 seeds in this one ;) This may have been one generation from the original. But I wouldn't want to jump the gun and claim I have found a mutant super hybrid capable of producing thousands of seeds per season.... And may be the answer to world hunger.. Just sayin

turning it on a lathe I think would be hard. its very brittle and shatters very easily - if you were to go slow with good tooling it might be ok.
-
it takes a while to go rock hard and there is a trick to doing it to get a glass clear finish. if you dry it too quick it goes cloudy, too slow and the centre stays soft.
I think slower is better maybe with drying in the sun later. I can report back when I have it figured out. while collecting it apart from the funny looks, people love to tell me about all the other uses they have for it. Its good for sealing your bark canoe ;)

Best of luck with it all.

If you can't find the info banman ask the doctors and nurses about all the complications and issues with the surgery. They will weigh up all factors and be able to put your mind to rest.

Thanks for the post olive. I do like the idea of getting a more advanced system. It would probably suit my anal personality. The first thing that comes to mind though is the work required to keep them healthy. I don't min the work. But time is an issue.

Hi all,
I bought my kids a fishtank with some goldfish
because I feed my fish like I do myself, the fish outgrew the small tank and now have a nice big tank. ( their not getting another one!)
they have been loving the big tank.
As is my nature I would like to fill it with plants. does anyone have any cold water aquarium plants they want to trade? I have lights but no Co2.
cheeers

Interstate camping trip

My first few SAB camping trips were in this area with trips to cactus country. It's pretty awesome. The home of the j series of cacti named after jim the owner. And psycho0 too.
Incognito tried walking around the whole garden in bare feet. If my memory serves me, i rescued him by heroically carrying him piggy back.
