I used to keep geckos, and the reptile hobby is somewhat similar to the ethnobotany hobby. You have to be careful which friends you choose to show your bearded dragon/trichocereus to, because thieving is rife. Don't get me wrong though, it's disgusting that this would happen, but in the Blue Mountains where I live, people just go into the bush to steal reptiles.

Before I had a mobile, I had an A4 sheet of paper folded in my wallet with phone numbers. Just make sure you keep a master copy of said list, or losing your wallet is like losing your mobile. Ace, we would love to have you along! I have created a calendar event, for 7th April, it's a definite go-ahead for me. Meet @ Midday near the RBGS, I will chose a good spot. Your 'missus', whatever that is, would be more than welcome. I bring my partner, Amulte brings his, Chemikazi brings his aswell. It's all about the love man. There's no rigid rules or anything, we just meet up, wander through the gardens as a bunch of friends and then do whatever people want to do. Trading happens, definitely. Give-aways happen too. We sometimes go for dinner, or drinks. I will hang out from midday until however late in the evening people want to go. The first meet I went to ran from midday to midnight. Kat(my partner) & I missed the last train back home and had to get the nightride bus! It sucked, but it was worth it! It's always an awesome day out, look forward to seeing you all there.

Yeah, with my delosperma I only use the roots. I don't bother with fermentation, it seems to have no oxalic acid. I dry the root, powder it, and smoke it through a bong. A few cones works a treat. It gives you a body buzz, like scelly, but with heavyness in the limbs and a slight mental fogging. Reminds me slightly of mary jane... Sorry, no references off-hand. I just know what I know. I bought some root-powder from Darcy @ Herbalistics once, and fell in love with the stuff. Bought a pot with about 10 Delosperma seedlings @ SAB around 3 years ago and now have stacks of the shit! Anyone who has traded with me ever noticed I always offer Delosperma seedlings?

I will show you pics within 12 months Andy! Guaranteed. Prolly less than 6 months. I'll need to take time off work afterwards though, so might wait a couple of months till I've got a week or so saved up. Can't go doing physical labour after a shoulder tatt. I'm going to get it done in an ochre type colour or just shaded black, and probably get the artist to design me some more stuff to connect up with it too. Maybe I'll end up with my whole back looking like cave-art??

They rarely have gems like that, and the lady is hesitant to sell to people that look like 'junkies' in her eyes. But, once you win her trust, as long as you check regularly you can find some awesome ethnobotanicals. I got some Loph. var. Caspitosae there the other day!

Our beloved member Psycho0 and I both kind of decided to get it as a tatt at the same time, but unbeknownst to each other. Once we realised, we exchanged design ideas, etc. I will consider this to be a tattoo for Psycho0, the one he never had a chance to get.
