It isnt a salvia, but you are talking about thujones, does anybody know Acantholippia deserticola?.
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa40..._n17190001/pg_2
The major constituents were α-thujone (10.5%) and β-thujone (77.9%).
Its seems so interesting.

Before your phleb dies, or it happens some tragedy.
Could you get a chip and try to graft it?.

There is a glue used to kill rats and mouses. They touch this glue and then they can run way. Its similar to hair gel, but more sticky. In Spain, Its called "rat stop", the chemical composition is polibutene.

Perhaps it may be a bit better like superglue. Its less toxic with any dehydrating effect, and take up a few days to evaporate completely.

Quite a bit of essential oil which is extremely high in safrole and no other allylbenzenes. The only draw back is that this plant is extremely slow growing and [for us in the subtropics] that it likes it rather cold. I suspect that alongside it's Chilean relative it would be the perfect crop for Tasmania. It would be interesting like Novae zealandiae?

i've tested a number of cyperus and cyperacea and they have all seemed to have some usually similar activity.there are usually noticable effects from cyperus smoked or brewed alone.
Not all cyperus may be active. In Spain there is a cultigen called Chufa (cyperus esculentum). The little bulbs, that are so sweet, are consumed like peanuts, and with them it can obtained a some kind of drink called "Horchata".
